Emily and Dr. Hesse, purchased Vision Care in August 2001.  She is the friendly face you will see in various areas of the office.  She is responsible for making sure patients are enjoying their visit here and making sure things flow smoothly for both patients and staff.  You might also see Emily out in various activities in the community.  She serves on the Wayne County Hospital Board, the Wayne County Business Incubator and on two advisory boards for the Wayne County Area Technology Center.  She is a part of many other organizations including American Cancer Society, March of Dimes, Chamber of Commerce, and Lion's Club.  Finally, you may also see Emily & Dr. Hesse's kid's, Nicole, Aaron and Zachary, visiting the office occasionally too.  Vision Care has always been and will always be a family owned and operated office. 

Tina started with us in, well... actually, Tina has been at Vision Care for longer than we have, but we'll say August 2001, which is when Dr. Hesse bought Vision Care.  She is the friendly face you will meet when you are ready to pick out glasses or train to wear contact lenses.  Tina has been through extensive training over the past several years and is equipt to answer almost any question regarding glasses or contacts.  She is dedicated to making sure you love how you look, feel and see in your glasses and/or contacts.

Marilyn started with us in February 2005.  She is the friendly face you will see in our file room working on insurance claims for our patients. Marilyn has years and years of experience in billing insurances and will ensure your claims are filed correctly and efficiently.  If an insurance plan denies a claim that should be paid, she will continue to work with the insurance company rather than transfer it to our patients right away for them to deal with.

Leslye started with us in August of 2007.  She is the friendly face you will meet when you are learning to wear contacts or in need of ordering additional contacts.  Leslye is a highly trained contact lens technician, capable of handling most any contact lens questions that may come up.  She is very patient and uses layman's terms ensuring that you get the best contact lens training available!  She is also trained as an optician so she may be helping you pick out your glasses or cutting lenses for them!

Rebecca started with us in April 2008.  She is the friendly face you will meet when you are ready to see the doctor.  Rebecca will perform some preliminary tests used by Dr. Hesse to ensure you have the most comprehensive exam possible.  She is great at explaining everything that she is doing so that you understand the test and why we perform it.  Have a question about your exam after you leave our office?  Call and ask for Rebecca... she'll get you the right answer and explain it to the fullest.

Kim started with us in March 2009.  She is the friendly face you will speak with when or if you have questions about your insurance coverage. Kim calls on your insurance, if possible, before you arrive.  This enables us to explain your benefits, prior to your exam, so there are no surprises at the end.  She works in conjunction with Marilyn on insurance billing, thus creating a dynamic team to work on taking care of your financial needs.  Have a question about your bill?  Call Kim and she'll be happy to explain what the bill is for and why you are receiving it.

Linda started with us in October of 2009.  She is the friendly face you will hear when Dr. Hesse needs to see you back again.  Linda helps you maintain healthy eyes, which ensures good vision.  She is very savvy and can help find an appointment that works with your schedule!  

Andrea started with us in May 2010.  She is the friendly face you will meet when you are having new lenses put in your existing frames.  Andrea is a highly trained lab technician capable of handling most any eyeglass questions that may come up.  She is efficient and precise ensuring that you get the best optical lenses in the quickest amount of time.  She is also trained as an optician so she may be helping you pick out your glasses or training you to wear contact lenses.

Tina M started with us in June of 2011.  She is the friendly face you will meet when you come in the door or call us.  She will make your appointments, take care of your records, check you in and check you out.  Tina is also our office hostess, ensuring that all patients have what they need while in the office and that they are taken care of.  She is always ready to answer any questions you might have!
